I’ve had these tools laying on my bench for awhile now, I finally got around to cleaning them up. They were left in a damp area; and I don’t know who the hammer belongs to, it was left on the ground in the rain. The first tool I tried to use was the antique bench grinder; but it wasn’t aggressive enough. So I got out a 7 inch angle grinder with a twisted wire wheel. That removed the rust, then I went back to the softer wire wheel on the bench grinder. That step helped, but might no have been necessary.
Finally, I used a cloth wheel with abrasive on the bench grinder. That did the final polish.
