I’m writing this off the cuff, haven’t taken time to contemplate the plausibility of it. You might find it interesting, and hey, it’s the 2020s, so bizarre things happen.

Anyway, there appears to be a ballot recount in Arizona.

Go back to the 1800s, after Jesse James was shot for reward money. His brother Frank got concerned for his own well being, and turned himself in to the authorities. The James brothers had substantial support among the people of Missouri. Frank was also wanted in neighboring Kansas, wher his reception would be far less cordial if he went there. As it turned out, he never did. The different counties in Missouri kept bringing charges against him. He was moved from one proceeding to another, and never did leave.

So here’s the idea: I just heard Juan O Savin again today. I was kind of tired, so I need to listen to it again, to be sure of all of what he was said. What I do recall him saying was that all legal possibilities for countering the election fraud of 2020 have to be exhausted before it can be tackled by the military. I was already aware of that, and take these kind of things with a wheelbarrow load of salt; but think about it.

What if the left can keep bringing up a string of legal inquiries into the fraud, and stall the military long enough for something to happen. Like millions of illegal immigrants, AKA Democrat voters. I’m not saying that I believe the military will act; in fact, it looks a lot like a perpetual stall tactic in the form of “trust the plan”. Nor do I suppose the military is forced to wait. On the other hand, if this theory is true, it would verify that there -is- a plan.

My brother in asked if I would come by his place and see if I had any ideas about taking down a Virginia Pine tree that was leaning over the carport. We decided that we could remove some branches, pull it with a good nylon rope, guide it with a couple straps, and be careful how we made the cut at the bottom.

In the top picture, you can see the result, The tree is laying at about a 45 degree angle to the direction it was leaning, which was straight downhill toward the carport. I used the gold Ford van to pull the rope.

The next picture is taken uphill from the stump, facing the direction that the tree was leaning.

Here’s the stump, what’s interesting is how little wood was holding it up before it finally started to fall.

While I was there I saw some moss and English Ivy growing on a smaller Virginia Pine. That’s a type of Southern Yellow pine. They’re dense and heavy woods compared to other pines.

On the way home, I again passed this beautiful hone in a small valley. A very simple but nice paint scheme.

Nothing profound, just unusual things I’ve seen in the last week or so.

The first one was baffling until I realized what was going on. My first thought was “WHY is the ground dry where the shadow is, but wet where the sun is?

I should have adjusted the contrast on this picture, as the dirt outside the shadow was darker than is shown here. Anyway, I was walking by and baffled by the idea that the area in the shadow was dry, but the area outside the shadow was wet. What’s really going on is that the area in the shadow is frozen, and the area outside the shadow is thawed.

Next is a very unusual looking piece of ice. I’ve never seen one like it. It came from a small hole I dug in the ground so that I could fit a tool handle below my truck. The ridges in this piece are very pronounced, they are about 3/8ths inch thinker that the flat parts.

Next picture is just a chunk of firewood, but I thought it was neat looking.

Next is a truck door lit by sunlight. In the middle of it you can see the adhesive remaining from vinyl letters that were removed. Do you also see spots on the paint? You see them, but they’re not actually there. What’s happening is that the large rear view mirror is reflecting sunlight on the door. There are mud drops on the mirror, and that’s what’s causing the apparent spots on the door.

Finally, here’s a piece of wood that I think is Redwood. It has two coats of clear shellac. There is NOT a concave section of wood removed from the lower edge. It’s a reflection of the dark inside of the coffee cup, and the white rim of the cup. It looks like a perfect secondary highlight of a curved edge.

If you want free leather for projects like tool holders, then a throw a way sofa is a good source. The leather is all the same color, but not all the same type or grade. Some pieces are thinner and softer than other pieces. It will take longer than you think, but you get a LOT of leather. It’s a little like skinning a big animal.

This time, I wanted to see what the ‘bones’ of the sofa looked like, so I took everything off. Below the leather is foam, below that is stout cardboard stapled on, and below that is wood, straps, and springs. I found some change in the couch, along with a playing card.

This is in reply the post on Twitter about one man, Trump, not being able to save you from the takeover that’s happening.

Feeling powerless? In a way, you are, but more on that in a minute. The idea that the good ol’ U.S.A. can be preserved in its 50 state glory is questionable, at best. Think about it, the homogenized culture, media and strong federal government is what brought this problem, how and why would they fix it?  Do you really suppose the whacky left areas can be changed? I like to cut slack to leftists who never learned how to think, only what to think. Some of those might be reached with the truth, but they’re not holding power in the blue zones.

Politically, the physical resistance has already begun. A number of people are refusing masks, shutdown orders, and they’re going about their business as usual. That’s a good sign. People need to make a distinction between outright armed secession and de-facto secession. What are other steps of resistance that could be taken? What would happen if a lot of people used alternate currency? That’s interesting. Home schooling is a huge form of defiance. One could say that while living in the occupied territory created by Lincoln, the most significant resistance done to date has been the brave home schooling pioneers, back when home school wasn’t cool. I’m talking about my mother in law, not myself.

Reason with me for a minute. Conservative effort to dominate the Supreme Court has proven ineffective. The blue areas will literally let their cities burn before allowing reform. Those same ares are fiscally irresponsible. The national debt is headed toward 30 trillion dollars, not counting benefits promises. The Republican party is timid at best, traitors seems more appropriate. Do you really think you can regain control of the entire country? Those blue people hate your guts, and literally want you dead. Even if you did, it would be occupied territory, and observations of fourth generation warfare show that you can’t occupy in a practical way for a length of time.

I suggest continuing the resistance in the more red areas, and whatever the conflict comes to, making a point to secure those places before trying to keep the whole thing. Is that possible? Well, about that powerlessness: take a look at American history. We had problems from the inception, but it looks to me like the last straw was in the late 1950’s, early 1960’s. We went from a much cleaner society to public sex at Woodstock in ten years’ time. Teen pregnancy skyrocketed. Drug use became normal. Our currency started the road to fiat. We fought a war run by politicians, who called it a police action. No fault divorce became the legal norm, and families disintegrated. All this is no exaggeration.

Here’s the main point of all this: You are powerless against a very intelligent enemy if you don’t have help of greater ability. It looks to me like Christ left us in the early 1960’s, and that’s the help we need. I mean politically, not just morally. We need to look at what the last straw was. Jesus said that it would be better to have a millstone tied about your neck and be cast into the sea, if you offend children that believe in Him. We made it official, by the federal decree, that children be taught there is no God. I think that was the last straw.

So now what? I say we need a covenant with God. “Lord, we will not teach Darwin’s crude lie, we will make pornography illegal, we will eliminate no fault divorce, (as examples) if you will help us have an area to raise our families in peace and prosperity.” The problem of course is secret sin. Many on the right will agree, but sneak off to their vices in private. Listen now, I tell you the most important secession of all is to separate yourself from the wickedness around us, and return to God on His terms, not your own.

Without that public and private change, I’m skeptical of a good political outcome. Very skeptical.

This door was on an excavator, but got badly damaged. My son fixed the wrinkled metal, and I painted it yellow, put on the letters, and airbrushed the details on the letters.

While I was restoring a very old steam locomotive, I needed a slim wire brush that could reach into places other brushes couldn’t. That’s when, by trial and error, I developed the Restoration Brush #1. It works very well, and I use it for cleaning mechanical parts also.
